Enhance after you already cleaned
The usual break: strip generate v1, run Enhance , download v2, upload v2. v1’s clean never applied. Folders: Archive_Krea vs Social_Ready on each download you might post.
Photoshop or Canva after Krea: another hop. Clean last .
Realtime canvas vs the Download button
Krea’s on-canvas preview is not the file Instagram reads. Realtime or in-browser enhance can look clean in the UI while Download still writes a credentialed PNG. Always inspect the bytes in Downloads - a share-to-Photos hop on iPhone may create a second, smaller HEIC that is not the file you stripped.
Teams that dump Krea stills into Discord then “Save image” from Discord are on a new raster. That is a messenger-style transcode, not a Krea export. Prefer Download from Krea → strip → Instagram. Discord save is a last resort and still needs its own checker pass.
Workflow
- Finish look in Krea. Download once .
- If you need credentials for a client archive, keep Archive.
- Inspect the exact JPG/PNG for Instagram in the AI metadata checker .
- Strip C2PA , XMP , PNG chunks if needed.
- Upload from Social_Ready. Do not re-open Krea to tweak a prompt on the cleaned file.
- Carousel: every Krea slide. One enhanced hero beside camera details still flags the set if the hero is dirty.
Pinterest: identical bytes after one clean. Pinterest pins if the destination is Pin, not IG - still clean the same master.

Same job (clean the download), different stack. Recraft is listing/mockup exports. Midjourney is its own dump. This page is only Krea’s JPG/PNG still.
Does Krea’s enhance or upscale write new tags?
Treat enhance/upscale as a new export. Clean the file you will attach, not the first generate you already stripped.
Can I screenshot the Krea canvas instead?
No. Screenshots are soft and are not the download. Save the raster, then strip that file.
